Text to speech
Oriloq reads text out loud with neural voices you can describe or clone from your own, right inside the app and its Smart Actions.
Neural voices
Describe the voice you want or clone your own (1.0.22), then have Oriloq read text, podcasts, or the text you select on screen.
OmniVoice and Magpie engines
Oriloq ships two synthesis engines, OmniVoice and Magpie, with a selectable Core ML runtime (1.0.23). The Marion voice is available on compatible Magpie models (1.0.32), and Magpie automatically picks the models compatible with your CPU and Neural Engine (1.0.33).
Voice settings
Choose the engine, the Magpie model, the voice, the effect, and the playback speed from the settings or from the audio Smart Actions (1.0.23, 1.0.24). The OmniVoice HUD shows the current playback, and your speed is remembered between sessions (1.0.32).
Effects
Apply effects to the generated voice, including S27 and GLaDOS V2 (1.0.32). GladosKit is also available in the chat (1.0.19).
Integrated with chat and Smart Actions
Since version 1.0.22, the chat and Smart Actions can answer out loud, and a dedicated Smart Action converts audio files between formats (1.0.23).
