Oriloq Documentation

Built-in actions

Oriloq ships with ready-to-use Smart Actions — clean up a dictation, summarize, translate, transcribe a file, capture screen content — all triggered by voice.

Built-in action catalog

These actions are available out of the box:

  • →Clean up a dictation
  • →Correct or rewrite a text
  • →Summarize
  • →Translate
  • →Record a meeting
  • →Transcribe a file
  • →Capture screen content (1.0.32)
  • →Insert today's date in your language's format (1.0.33)
  • →Copy the paths of the files and folders selected in the Finder, one per line (1.0.33)
  • →Copy the path of the active document in compatible apps (1.0.33)

Using built-in actions

Trigger an action with the keyword — maestro by default — followed by a natural sentence, and Oriloq runs the matching action. Action names and voice search are available in five languages (1.0.32), the hierarchical agent chains actions when a request needs several steps (1.0.14), and steps can be searched when editing an action (1.0.21).

Execution engines

By default, built-in actions run on the local Gemma engine (1.0.14). Ollama is supported as an alternative since the same release, and custom providers since 1.0.26.

Supported content

Built-in actions handle text, images, and file content (1.0.15, 1.0.33), can act on clipboard stacks (1.0.33), and dictation is enriched by the clipboard (1.0.15).
